Nebra for Fontana Arte (2015)
Nebra is a disk like pendant lighting in two sizes made of casted glass. The initial idea is based on new LED technologies which propose new parameters to designers. Using full volumes in the past like spheres to have a space for classic bulbs and a good quality of light, the LED allows you to transform a sphere to a flat disk. The casted solid glass lampshades provide a strong and balanced atmosphere and quality of light. The name Nebra is based on historic bronze disc found close to the city of Nebra in Germany dated to 1600BC which is a reference of one of the first schema for the movements of sun and moon. Existing in two sizes and a range of colors, the Nebra can be used perfectly in groups and unique settings, as well as singular or in a row.
